COUNTERTOPS

We offer many types and brands of products for countertops.  Listed below from least expensive to higher cost average per linear foot are the different countertops available:

1. POSTFORM LAMINATE (Wilson Art, Nevamar, Formica Brands)

2. SELFEDGE LAMINATE: Custom built at our facility to fit your needs.  A laminate top with a matching laminate edge.

3. WOODEDGE LAMINATE: Custom built at our facility.  A laminate surface with a woodedge to match the wood specie and finish exactly to your cabinets.

4. LAMINATE WITH SOLID SURFACE: Same as woodedge construction but with a solid surface front edge.

5. SOLID SURFACE: We are a certified fabrication facility for Staron, Formica, Wilson Art, and Hanex products all available with Karran - undermount sinks (shown below).  All of these products are comparable to Corian.

6. CULTURED MARBLE: We offer a vartiey of colors in VA Marble for your bathroom vanities.

7. GRANITE: We offer several granite options as well.

8. BUTCHER BLOCK!!!

Once Again, Karran Sinks are featured in Fine Homebuilding magazine - this time in Fine Homebuilding's 2004 Annual Kitchen and Bath issue.

Undermount Sink for Plastic Laminate (by Charles Miller)

Noted for their seamless transition between the counter and the sink, undermount sinks eliminate the grunge-collecting lip of drop-in sinks, which makes them significantly easier to clean.

Until now, undermount sinks generally have lived out their days beneath pricey granite, engineered stone, or solid surface countertops. But now there is an alternative.

Karran, a manufacturer of sinks and bathtubs for more than 50 years, has introduced an acrylic undermount sink that bonds seamlessly to the underside of that old standby: the plastic-laminate counter. Karran’s website includes a well illustrated installation guide that takes the mystery out of the process.
